Saturday 2/4 - Playmates

Two of Canberra's most talented and extensively credentialed musicians have come together to form one of the regions newest, most capable and sweet sounding musical combinations 'the Playmates'.

'the Playmates' feature the amazing classical guitar chops and electric rock soul guitar playing talents of well-known Canberra guitar queen Jenny Spear, coupled with the outstanding vocal talent and musicianship of long-time performer and multi- instrumentalist Kieran Roberts.

'the Playmates' play fantastic interpretations of all time classic guitar and vocal harmony repertoire by the biggest selling artists of all time, and though regularly enhanced with electric guitar, 'the Playmates' are particularly dynamic in acoustic and semi-acoustic settings.

With decades of combined Local and National experience, Kieran and Jenny can always be relied upon to provide a warm-hearted and musically exciting performance to satisfy and entertain the most discerning of listeners.

Saturday 9/4 - Hit Parade

Along with high quality professional backing sequences, Hitparade is a sophisticated trio featuring live guitar instrumentation, male and female lead vocals, and further backing vocals to give the band the strong, rich three-part harmony sound that feature on most of their songs. Only a minimal amount of space is required for set-up, making it the perfect format for almost any event. With a small sound system and minimal amount of equipment, the set-up process is quick, clean and very professional. The overall volume is controllable to your liking, for small rooms, Hitparade can play softer than larger bands, whilst still having the ability to fill a larger room with sound if necessary.

Saturday 16/4 - Party On

These guys have been delighting audiences in and around the Canberra region for over 10 years now and have built a reputation of professionalism combined with a good - time approach, guaranteeing your party or function will be a memorable one.

Their song list has been carefully selected to appeal to a wide audience, and these seasoned professionals will play the right music for the occasion. Party On is a duo with a full-band sound, so the songs sound like the originals with a big drum sound plus all the trimmings!

The distinguishing features of this duo are the great voice and energetic performance of Marcel Norbart combined with the incredible guitar-work of Michael Watsford and great vocal harmonies.

Marcel and Mike have between them over 30 years of experience performing with such great bands as Rigby and Saga as well as theatrical and studio work.

Saturday 23/4 - Romeo

ROMEO, an established band in the Canberra music scene, has been together since 2002. ROMEO comprises Steve and Reg, two of Canberra's foremost entertainers. With over 40 years of on-stage performing experience, ROMEO are the band you want when you desire a complete professional and above all, entertaining act.

With a repertoire that covers over 4 decades of music and ranging in styles from rock to pop, county and jazz, they're sure to please any age group.

Saturday 30/4 - Troy Henderson Duo

Troy Henderson is an indisputable musician who focuses on playing live tunes with real instruments. You won't find any pre-recorded backing tracks in this show, just good times and authentic sounds.

An all-in-one percussionist, guitarist and vocalist with over 20 years experience, this lad has the ability to either make you dance or ponder how one man can do so much.

A specialist in wedding entertainment - With this being his full time job, expect only good times when Troy Henderson (solo or duo) is on stage.
